The military men are awarded “for personal courage and commitment in defending national sovereignty and territorial integrity of Ukraine, for loyalty to military oath”

The President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko awarded 48 servicemen with the highest state awards – the Third Class Order of Bohdan Khmelnytsky and the Second and Third Order for Personal Courage. 10 orders are awarded posthumously.

The respective order is published on the President’s official website.

As stated in the order, the military men are awarded “for personal courage and commitment in defending national sovereignty and territorial integrity of Ukraine, for loyalty to military oath”.
