Nowadays there are some "agents of Russia" in the current Verkhovna Rada, but their quantity is much smaller than before, says the Ukrainian MP Anton Gerashchenko. He stated this on the air of the Gordon show on 112 Ukraine TV channel.

"There are not so many of them as it was before 2014. I think that these agents certainly are among those who have a common business with Russia, a common real estate, a common past, but their influence is not so great. Therefore, you see how all calls for early presidential and parliamentary elections are broadcasted by Russian propaganda," the parliamentarian explained.

We note, in the Verkhovna Rada Gerashchenko represents the Narodnyi Front faction.

Earlier Security Service of Ukraine announced the detention of an agent of the Russian Federation in Kyiv. He was trying to obtain information on the conduct of the Sea Breeze 2017 military exercises.
