More than half of Ukrainians - 57% - said about cold and very cold attitude toward Russia. This is evidenced by the results of the study, which was conducted by Sociological Group "Rating" on the request of the International Republican Institute.
Thus, 28% of respondents indicated that their attitude to the Russian is bad, and 29% - very bad. Neutral attitude towards the Russian Federation marked less than a quarter of respondents - 24%. Only 3% has very warm feelings towards Russia and 15% - good.
The best attitude Ukrainians show to Poland (12% - very warm and 41% - good), Belarus (10% - very warm and 41% - good) and the European Union (8% - very warm and 36% - good).
The survey was conducted throughout Ukraine (except occupied territories of Donbass and Crimea) from 28 September to 7 October 2016 by survey method - a personal interview at the respondent's homes. 2400 residents of Ukraine at the age from 18 years were questioned for this survey. The margin of error does not exceed 2.0%.
According to the survey, 38% of respondents in the Russian Federation responded mostly bad, 18% - very bad attitude towards Ukraine. At the same time 24 % treat Ukraine positively and 2% - very good. The remaining 11% couldn’t decide.
