More than 3 000 cyber attacks were spotted daily ahead of the e-declarations filing date. This was announced by the Head of the State Service for Special Communication and Information Protection of Ukraine Leonid Yevdovchenko during the briefing in Kyiv, broadcasted by 112 Ukraine TV channel on Wednesday.
“More than 3 000 daily cyber attacks were spotted ahead of the e-declarations filing date. Now the documents are being prepared to be transferred to the law enforcement bodies and I wish the proper evaluation provided and investigation carried out and not only executors but the paymaster to be found,” said Yevdovchenko.
At that he noted that no damage was made to the data provided (by the applicants, - ed.).
At the same time no unauthorized tampering of the registry took place, all the data inserted are saved and secured in accordance with the law, he added.
As we reported earlier, the first round of filing electronic declarations finished on October 30 at 24:00 for the subjects to the declaring, occupying positions of responsibility or positions of high responsibility. 119 570 e-declarations are published on the website of the National Agency for Preventing Corruption (NAPC).
High ranking officials were given 60 days to report on their incomes and assets for 2015.
