Entry of the large vehicles to the capital will not be allowed in the morning on November 14. This is reported by Kyiv City State Administration.
"On Monday, November 14 from 06:30 p.m. the entrance for large vehicles to the capital will be closed. The decision was taken during a meeting of the operational headquarters for counteraction to emergency situations," - statement says.
It is noted that case of heavy snowfalls wagons and trucks entry to the city will be closed today - the decision will be taken according to the weather conditions.
Deputy Chairman of Kyiv City State Administration Peter Panteleyev said that a temporary ban of large vehicles entry to the city proved its effectiveness last year.
According to him, in case of heavy snowfalls 183 additional vehicle units will be utilized. He also emphasized that this measure helps snow-ploughs work efficiently and prevents the city from traffic jams.
