The police headquarters in Kyiv expect no incidents or dangerous provocations during the Easter holidays, which fall on this weekend. Andriy Kryshchenko, Head of the Central Office of the National Police in Kyiv, said this at a press conference on Friday.

The official reiterated that the law enforcers have been working under the robust security regime, considering the approaching Eurovision song contest in Kyiv, as well as the Easter and May holidays. According to him, up to 25,000 police workers will be maintaining public security during the Easter all-night vigil; about eight million people are to join the holiday mass on late April 15 and early April 16.
