Pechersk District Court of Kyiv decided to take people's deputy from the Opposition Block faction Mykhailo Dobkin into custody for two months and set the amount of bail of 50 million UAH, reports 112 Ukraine TV channel.

"I do not want to comment on the decision of the court and my attitude towards it. If we want to live in a law-based state, we must respect any decision of the court. I realized that of all that prosecutors asked for, they were not satisfied only with the amount of bail: from 150 million it was reduced to 50. I do not understand why it's such a sum, where these amounts come from.

I realized that they do not take me immediately in custody, they give me 5 days as an alternative to pay the bail, and if I do not pay, I will be arrested. I think, it's a real arrest, because the amount of bail leaves me no alternative. This is not an alternative, it's only the vision of it", said Dobkin to reporters.

He stressed that he was not ready to pay the bail. "I will not pay it, I have no money. And I'm ready for the worst option, " Dobkin said.
