Wrongfully convicted in Chechnya Ukrainian Mykola Karpyuk has being taken to Vladimir Central Prison for more than three weeks. His Lawyer Ilya Novikov wrote this on Facebook.

He explained that Karpyuk was transferred from the detention center in Grozny on December 5, but he has not arrived to the prison even on December 29.

"Today I specifically went to check, as local special section does not give the answers on the phone, and has a right to respond on lawyer’s request within a reasonable time - a month and a half including the shipment of the papers by mail," he wrote.

Later, he received information that on December 26 Karpyuk has been sent to the disposal of Vladimir Central Prison from Izhevsk.

The lawyer said that Karpyuk was taken from Chechnya to Vladimir through Udmurtia.
