Ukraine gave 270 000 USD for producing Peter Bebjak’s film Border

Peter Bebjak’s film Border was awarded for best direction at the Karlovy Vary International Film Festival, Vice Prime Minister of Ukraine Pavlo Rozenko wrote on Twitter.

“Ukrainian-Slovak film Border was awarded for best direction at the Karlovy Vary International Film Festival,” he wrote.

Border is a criminal story with thriller elements, which is set on Ukrainian-Slovak border. Ukraine gave 270 000 USD for production. The film is to be released in August.
