The incident took place at Chaplynka checkpoint, Kherson region, southern Ukraine. The border guards stopped a Hyundai as the dog barked at it.

The driver came from Crimea and attempted to enter the mainland Ukraine. State border guards and the State Fiscal Service workers checked the glove box and found live ammunition for an assault rifle – 76 cartridges of 5.56 caliber. The driver was detained, and the car was confiscated for further expertise.
