Istanbul's Ataturk airport works after night shooting

No civilians or the police injured. The airport resumes its operation

Police blocked entrance to the Ataturk airport on Saturday evening, reported by Reuters citing CNN.

Turkish authorities briefly barred cars from entering and leaving Istanbul’s main Ataturk Airport after police fired shots when a motorcycle refused an order to stop. One of two men aboard the motorcycle was detained after he got wounded. The second rider was apprehended by police after a pursuit, No injuries among civilians and the police reported.

The airport resumed its operation today. Turkish airlines informed all the flights being performed without delays and the airport operating in an ordinary regime, according to Daily Sabah.

As it was reported earlier, Turkish schooner Zor sank during a storm in Odesa on October 13.
