Terrorist group "Islamic State" (LIH) claimed responsibility for an explosion at a vegetable market in Baghdad, according to Reuters.

In particular, it is noted that the militants released a statement, which says that a suicide bomber blew up a car at a vegetable market in the east of the Iraqi capital.

The newspaper also reports that the number of people killed in a suicide attack in Baghdad has increased to 13 people. More than 50 people were wounded as a result.

A series of attacks in Baghdad and other Iraqi cities have killed more than 80 people in just over a week.

The situation in Baghdad has been very unstable lately. Recently ISIS claimed responsibility for the explosion which occurred in heavily populated area in Baghdad, caused by car bomb. 35 victims were reported, 61 people injured.
