Four people died of flu in Lviv region, among them two children, the correspondent of the 112 Ukraine TV channel reported, referring to the regional laboratory center.

A four year old boy died from the seasonal flu in Stryi and a 40-years old woman died because of pneumonia complications in Zolocheve. Another child of 1,5 years old and a 54-yeared woman died in Busk. Lviv regional center reports that all patients' analysis revealed seasonal virus A. It is also known that that the deceased people were suffering from diabetes, coronary heart disease, kidney disease and gastric disorders. All four, according to doctors, were in a risk group.

“Over 30 people got ill in the region during last week, that’s why quarantine in Lviv will be continued till the end of the year,” the message says.

Earlier it was reported that the World Health Organization declared Zika virus no longer constitutes international emergency. However, the virus and the related effects are still significant.
