A young man and a girl had a fight, as witnesses put it. The girl tried to flee the scene by catching a taxi, but the man prevented the taxi driver from doing so. He landed a number of strikes at the car’s doors, leaving dents on it.

The taxi driver went out of the car to assess how bad the damage was. Another man joined the attacker and they punched the driver together.

The witnesses called the police; five cars arrived at the scene. But the men continued to attack the car and even the bystanders. Only then, the policemen took one of the attackers to the ground and cuffed him. The other fled the scene in his car.

The eyewitnesses say the police used guns.

Head of Mykolaiv’s patrol police Maksym Akhrameev told the press that the investigation in the case will be conducted.
