Moscow Dorogomilovo Court considers the case for recognition of Euromaidan as "coup d'etat". It is reported by RIA Novosti.

The lawsuit was filed by the former MP from the Party of Regions and ex-mayor of Cherkassy Volodymyr Oliynyk, who has been living in Russia for a few years. In Ukraine Oliynyk is wanted on charges of abuse of power in the voting for the dictatorial laws on January 16.

Oliynyk said earlier he wants to bring to justice those who have committed "illegal change of power."

"I affirm that the actions of the persons involved in the adoption and implementation of the above decisions have the signs of crime, providing for liability under Article 109 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine. These are actions aimed at violent change or overthrow of the constitutional order or the seizure of state power. The people call it the coup", said Oliynyk.

Oliynyk also insists on the fact that the ex-President Yanukovych was deposed by the illegal decision of the Parliament. Yanukovych will testify as a witness on this case.
