Costa Rica abolished visas for Ukrainians for travels up to 90 days from December. It was reported by the Department of Consular Service of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine on Facebook.

"The Government of Costa Rica introduced a visa-free regime for Ukrainian citizens in December 2016, for of all types of passports for travels up to 90 days. The prerequisite of entry is the presence of the passport document, the validity of which is not less than 90 days at the time of the alleged departure from Costa Rica," the statement said.

The Foreign Ministry reminded that a fee of $ 29 shall be paid when exiting the territory of the country, regardless of the traveler’s type of passport.
