Chinese government stands ready to introduce visa-free regime with Ukraine taking into account desire of both countries. This was announced by Du Wei, Chinese Ambassador to Ukraine, during the press conference on the occasion of 25th anniversary of diplomatic relations between the countries, according to Interfax-Ukraine.

"Chinese side is ready at any time, based on the desire of two countries, and on the principle of equality and mutual benefit, to adopt all necessary measures for people’s exchange between our countries, including visa-free regime," he noted.

At the same time, Du Wei added that Chinese side welcomes the decision of the European Union to liberalize visa-free regime with Ukraine.

As it was reported, European Parliament voted for granting visa-free regime for Ukrainian citizens on April 6. 521 MEPs voted in favor of the decision, 75 were against, 36 abstained. 

Ukrainian Foreign Ministry expects that the documents on visa-free regime for our country will be signed until May 18.
