Ukraine’s largest airport finished third in the “Eastern Europe” category; for three years in a now, Boryspil International Airport has been entering the top three in this nomination. The winner is Budapest, the second place went to Tallinn.
The contests’ jury ruled that Munich would be the best airport in Europe.
For the last four years, Singapore has been the undisputed winner; this year, it received the World’s Best Airport Award once again. The top ten includes Incheon (Seoul), Munich, Haneda (Tokyo), Hong Kong, Chubu (Tokoname), Zurich, Heathrow (London), Kansai (Osaka) and Hamad (Doha).
In 2015, Boryspil International Airport served 7.3 million people.
