The famous artist Tyrus Wong, whose works became the basis for the cartoon "Bambi" from Disney, died at age 106 years, according to People.
According to the newspaper, Wong came to Disney in 1938, where he worked on sketches for Mickey Mouse. Subsequently he devoted himself to the creation of the animated hero fawn Bambi. It is noted that the original cartoon about Bambi was released in 1942.
