There were no Ukrainians among the victims of the attack of a man with a knife, as Ambassador of Ukraine to Finland Andryi Olefirov told 112.UA Channel.

In the police briefing held today at 7 pm, it was informed that 8 people were hospitalized, two of them died, in the attack in the city center of Finish Turku, according to Yle.

The police said that the attacker stabbed two people in the market square, then a few more a little further away. In 20 minutes, the attacker was arrested, as the law enforcers fired at his legs.

At the moment the attacker is the only suspect. He may be a foreigner. The incident hasn’t been identified as a terrorist attack yet. As of now, there is no information as to the motives of the attacker.
