On the bridge in Stanytsia Luhanska, on the line of demarcation in Donbas the armed man threatened four observers of the OSCE SMM with the Kalashnikov rifle. This is reported on the OSCE website.

The patrol was at the south of government-controlled Stanytsia Luhanska settlement (16 km north-east of Luhansk), next to the LNR forefront within the demarcation zone.

"During the monitoring process, the patrol was approached by an unarmed man in a military uniform who spoke to the SMM, but participants of the patrol could not fully understand, as he talked in broken Russian language with a heavy accent, probably both North Caucasus, "the report says.

The man walked away from the patrol, but two minutes later came back with an assault rifle (type AK) and set the store, and took aim on patrol at a distance of 3 meters.

The armed man gestured for the patrol to move, saying loudly:

"You are all spies, you have nothing to do with our positions, you have nothing to do here at all. Get out of here. I count three and if you do not go, I'll shoot."

The head of patrol interrupted him, saying that the patrol would leave.
