A soldier of the Afghan Armed Forces opened fire on the US military at a base in the southern province of Helmand. Three US servicemen were injured, according to a report by the NATO Operation "Strong Support" in Afghanistan on a page in Twitter.
"Three US servicemen were injured when an Afghan soldier opened fire at a base in Helmand province. The US military were provided with medical assistance, " stated in the report.
According to the agency, an Afghan serviceman was killed by fire in response.
Earlier we reported that first unit of the British Armed Forces, which is a part of NATO international battalion, on Friday arrived in Estonia. At the Emary air base, 130 servicemen were met by the Minister of Defense of Estonia, Margus Tsakhkna.
