Poland grant 230 thousand EUR for medicines for Ukrainian IDPs

20 families in the Dnipropetrovsk region have already received their social identity cards for getting medicines at the pharmacies

August 7 special social card, by which an IDP can get some medicines at the pharmacy, are already received by the first 20 families. The project covers 1,255 families in the region.
People with serious illnesses, disabled, big families will get the cards and obtain nearly $50 per month from August to November.
Advisor to the head of the region Vitaly Lytvyn said that the project is a common initiative of Red Cross, Polish Foreign Ministry and Dnipropetrovsk Regional Administration.
According to him, experts from the Department of Social Welfare carefully studied a database of IDPs from Donbas and chose those who needed help most urgently.
According to the latest Ministry of Social Policy of Ukraine report, there are 1,414,798 IDPs from the Donbas and Crimea.
