The Nextsound festival is to present the latest experiments in audio and video as well as premiere performances of world-renowned masters of electronic music. Kammerflimmer Kollektief (Germany), Jan Jelinek (Germany), TAPE (Sweden), Cristian Vogel (UK/Germany), OVAL (Germany), ATOM TM (Germany), INNODE (Austria), RSS B0YS (Poland), Kucharczyk (Poland), Edward Sol (Ukraine), Sport and music (Ukraine), Mutaforia Lili (Ukraine), Tolkachev (Ukraine), Alla Zagaykevych (Ukraine) and many others amaze with the synthesizers, drum machines, keyboards, samplers, and clicks & cuts effects.
It does not focus on a niche audience, but rather appeal to people who are interested in new art.
October 22, on the eve of two music nights educational work platform, visitors may attend lectures on music and media art.
October 23 is to be a collective session of immersion into glitch, microhouse, ambient, IDM, noise, lo-fi, synthpop, microsound. One of the conceptual frameworks of the event is to create innovative contexts, among other things.
The project aims to combine modern ways of work and give a platform for communication and joint projects between artists from abroad and from Ukraine. The festival is organized by the Ukrainian avant-label Nextsound founded by Andrey Kyrytchenko in 2000. For 13 years already, Nextsound artists represent Ukraine on major European festivals of modern experimental music and media art.
Music is just one of the facets of the festival projections and unfinished reality. Interactive audio-visual installation and a vast chamber space are alto be perceived by the attender.
Nextsound festival follows the global trend on the basis of the synthesis of different artistic systems, namely, audio and video to create new artistic techniques.
