‘Russia has been, and it will be using methods and technologies allowing it to evade direct military confrontation, creating image of a powerful state – just as powerful as the U.S.’, the Director of U.S. National Intelligence said (Wall Street Journal). According to him, Russia has been repeatedly trying to obtain influence on domestic political processes in the neighboring countries, which is why it’s possible that similar attempts will take place towards the United States.
