A two-minute video presentation of building a bridge across the Kerch Strait, which connects Russia and annexed Crimea, has just appeared in the Internet, Dozhd. The bridge connects Crimea with Russia's peninsula Taman across the Strait of Kerch.

The video states that currently only 4 million passengers a year can cross the Kerch Strait. After the construction of the new bridge, this figure will rise to 17 million. The bridge will cross up to 40 thousand cars and 47 pairs of trains. He will be able to ensure turnover of 13 million tons.

As was reported October 1, the traffic of the three working bridges had been opened. These bridges are needed for the construction of transport passage through the Kerch Strait. The construction of the bridge is conducted by the Russian side. 

Earlier it was reported that the first stage of a temporary bridge across the Kerch Strait will be built the beginning of winter.

The economic blockade of the administrative border between mainland Ukraine and the annexed Crimea in the Kherson region has started September 20. The initiators of the protes action are Crimean Tatar activists and the Majlis member, also the blocking activity is supported by representatives of the Pravyi Sektor, self-defense and volunteer battalions.
