Ukraine introduces sanctions against Russian TV channels

The companies should restrict or terminate providing of the telecommunication services and use of the telecommunication network of the general use

Petro Poroshenko the President of Ukraine by his executive order put a resolution of the National Security and Defense Council of Ukraine into execution from April 28. This resolution renews the list of the juridical persons against whom the sanctions will be introduced.

TV Center, RosBusinessConsulting, NTV Plus, TV Channel Zvezda, TNT, joint editors’ office of the Moscow mass media Moscow Media, International news agency Rossiya Segodnya, Ren TV and other companies are included in the list.

According to the Decree, the assets of the companies should be frozen, they should stop the execution of the economic and financial liabilities and also restrict or terminate providing the telecommunication services and use of the telecommunication network of the general use 

All sanctions are introduced for three years.
