The offer of Ukrainian side to replace the representative of the Russian Federation at the Eurovision-2017 music contest will not be considered. This was written in Facebook by deputy chairman of the Federation Council Committee on Defense and Security Franz Klintsevich.

"The proposal of the Ukrainian authorities to send another participant to Eurovision will not even be considered," he wrote.

In his opinion, Russia will not change the Russian participant under any circumstances.

Earlier, Vice Prime Minister of Ukraine Vyacheslav Kyrylenko said that Russia can take part in Eurovision by offering a participant who has no problems with Ukrainian laws. He also rejected the idea of Samoilova's participation in Eurovision via satellite, as it violates the law.

The SBU for 3 years banned the entry to Ukraine of Yulia Samoylova, which was chosen to participate in the contest Eurovision-2017.
