Russia should send the detained Ukrainian ‘agent’ back to Ukraine, not the self-proclaimed 'Donetsk People’s Republic'. Mark Feygin, Russian lawyer, said this in his commentary for 112 Ukraine TV channel.

‘If the detained man is a Ukrainian citizen, they have no right sending him to ‘DPR’. They are obliged to send him to Kyiv, and Kyiv alone,’ the lawyer said.

Answering the question what was the reason of the citizen’s detention, Feygin said that the Russian law enforcers just ‘detain anyone they want’.

‘But showing that video (of detention, - 112 International) and making it public was absolute idiotism. One should be insane to believe that man is a spy who collected information for the intelligence,’ Feygin said.

Previously, Russian security services detained a Ukrainian citizen whom they claimed to be a spy working for the Ukrainian intelligence. The Russian government is about to hand him over to the pro-Russian militants in Donbas.

Ukraine’s Defense Ministry says the man has nothing to do with their military intelligence.
