In Norway, in Sor-Varanger garrison, which is an hour's drive from the border with Russia, will be formed a unit, with more than 200 soldiers armed with a light anti-aircraft and anti-tank weapons. It is reported by The Barents Observer.

"The task of the Rangers is to delay a possible attack on Norway, while the country will wait to receive assistance from allies," - said MP Frank Bakke-Jensen, who presented the news of the placement of the rangers in new garrison.
He also called Norway - "A NATO in the north."

Anti-tank weapons can stop tanks and anti-aircraft guns, and can also shoot down helicopters.

"You will think twice before you cross the border, if you know that there is such a weapon", - says Bakke-Jensen.
