Ukrainian president calls on limitation of right for veto when it comes to mass death of people

In the framework of the visit to New York President Poroshenko in his statement called for limiting the right of veto for Russia in the UN Security Council. He said that there are no intensions to deprive someone's right of veto, but it is a security measure of some kind of limitation. These measures must be definitely imposed, as the issues refer to the mass death of people. "Actually, now veto means giving a licence to kill," said Ukrainian President.

As was reported before, Russian delegation left the General Assembly Hall at the United Nations during the speech of Ukrainian President Poroshenko at the session of the Summit to adopt the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development.
