Activists gathered near Lukyanivske pre-trial detention centre in Kyiv, protesting against the intention to move the five detained ex-Berkut policemen to Svyatoshyn district court. The protesters suspect that the former servicemen, charged with the murders of 48 Euromaidan protesters, could be released after Viktor Yanukovych’s testimonies; the ex-president of Ukraine is expected to testify before the Ukrainian court in absentia.
