Russian name appears in the metadata of the document

The name of Russian employee is mentioned 9 times in the leaks from headquarters of French presidential candidate, Emmanuel Macron. This was reported by WikiLeaks on Twitter.

"Name of employee for Russian government security contractor Evrika appears 9 times in metadata for "xls_cendric.rar" leak archive," the message reads.

Russian name Roshka Georgiy Petrovich is mentioned in the metadata.

WikiLeaks, referring to Russian media, says that this is about the company which received FSB certificate for the protection of State secrets.

Earlier Emmanuel Macron's campaign reported massive computer hack dumping e-mails online before the final round of the French presidential election on May 7. 9 gigabytes of information was posted by the user called Emleaks on Pastebin website, which allows anonymous data sharing.
