The White House is ready to respond to Russia’s cyber attacks and other threats to interfere with the course of the U.S. presidential campaign. That could include economic and diplomatic restrictions, Washington Post reports with reference to its own sources in the U.S. presidential administration.
The package may also include retaliatory cyber activity, the source said.
Part of the measures might be implemented already this week.
According to Washington Post, Obama’s administration does everything possible for president-elect Trump to have less options to lift sanctions from Russia.
