US Department of Justice filed an appeal against the decision of Seattle federal court to halt immigration decree on tightening migration policy in the USA. This was reported by “TASS” with reference to media.

As it is noted, this is all about the formal start of the appeal procedure. No basis or argument to appeal the decision was provided as of now, as the Justice Department has just notified the Western Washington district court about the beginning of this procedure.

US President Donald Trump earlier promised to overturn the decision on halting immigration order, calling it “ridiculous”.

It is noteworthy that the Federal court in Seattle (Washington) blocked the order of US President Donald Trump which prohibited refugees’ entry into the country and granting visas to the citizens of seven states.
