Verkhovna Rada passed a bill #0138 about granting the ratification of the agreement between the Ukrainian government and government of the Republic of Croatia about the economic cooperation. 

According to the explanatory note, this agreement aims to develop the partnership beneficial relations between Ukraine and Croatia in the economic sphere; creation of the favorable conditions to implement the trade between economic agents forging the relationships between the business circles; contribution to take part in the expositions, trade fairs; organization of the business events, workshops, symposiums and conferences. 

Particularly, the governments of Ukraine and Croatia agreed to form the Join Commission for economic cooperation.

The Agreement provides the close cooperation in such spheres as shipbuilding, engineering industry, the power and electric industries, infrastructure, agriculture and food industry.

Earlier Petro Poroshenko the President of Ukraine and Andrej Plenkovic discussed the activation of the Ukraine-Croatia Commission for trade cooperation.
