The Interparliamentary Assembly of Ukraine, Lithuania and Poland decided to name the combined LitPolUkrBrig after famous Ukrainian prince and warlord Kostyantyn Ostrozky. The Ukrainian Parliament’s press service reported this on Tuesday evening.

“It’s a good symbolic reminder for us; it’s something to remnd us that we stopped the aggressor back when we stood tall together. I think it’s a clear signal for the modern aggressor that any occupant will suffer crushing defeat. And we will do everything so that free nations of Europe and the rest of the world showed the others that no one has any right to ignore the international agreements”, said Ukraine’s Speaker Andriy Parubiy.
