Pavlo Klimkin, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine, plans to meet with all French presidential candidates in March including Marine Le Pen. The minister reported this on air of “1+1” TV channel.

“I have much faith in French democratic traditions and ideals… As the Foreign Minister, I have to take all variants into account and we are working on all possible scenarios,” Klimkin announced.

He also noted that the representatives of Foreign Ministry cooperate with different political headquarters and parties, as well as journalists. Klimkin admitted that Ukraine considers all possible scenarios of the presidential race.

“I will be in Paris at least twice in March and I am planning to meet with all candidates, I will also ask our Ambassador to organize a meeting with Marine Le Pen if possible, and I will demonstrate her the materials we have prepared, on Crimea in particular, in terms of our appeal on race discrimination convention,” Klimkin said.

As it was reported, presidential elections in France will take place in two rounds – on April 23 and May 7. Marine Le Pen, the leader of the National Front, ex-prime minister François Fillon and former minister of economy Emmanuel Macron will be fighting for the post.
