Ukrainian FM calls U.S. announcement on Crimea "a strong message"

Pavlo Klimkin is now in Washington to set a meeting of the U.S. and Ukrainian presidents

Ukrainian Foreign Minister Pavlo Klimkin called an announcement of the White House on the Crimea to be ‘expected and strong”.

He told that in his commentary to the Voice of America in Washington, where he is negotiating about the meeting of the presidents of the U.S. and Ukraine.

At that Klimkin noted that he expects the U.S. together with the EU to bring pressure on Russia until full implementation of Minsk agreement. He also said that Ukraine is grateful to the USA for their support and is ready for practical mutually-beneficial cooperation.
