Ukraine gets ready to bring up the issue of Crimea’s de-occupation at the next session of UN General Assembly. Kostyantyn Yeliseev, the deputy head of Ukraine’s presidential administration said that as quoted by Krym.Realii.

‘As for Crimea, we've come up with new ideas about de-occupation of Crimea, using the current international sanction mechanisms so as to return Crimea back to Ukraine, eventually. We’re getting ready for the UN General Assembly session. Ukraine will bring up certain initiatives regarding Crimea in terms of its de-occupation,’ Yeliseev said.

He added that issues related to Crimea and Donbas ‘became ‘alpha and omega’ of negotiations with international partners’.

The next session of the UN General Assembly is slated for September 12.
