Ukraine will close its market for Belarus, if the direct deliveries of Belarusian goods to occupied Ukrainian territories are proved to be true, as Ukraine’s Ambassador to Belarus Ihor Kyzym told in an interview for Navyny.by.
“We officially warn the Belarusian side: if Belarusian companies directly deliver goods to militants, we will introduce sanctions against them. And not only by Ukraine: we will do everything we can so that the EU joins. You need to understand, not only the diplomats work: security services do, too. And if the relevant information is found, these companies’ access to the Ukrainian market will be terminated with a 100% guarantee,” he noted.
According to Kysym, there is information that Belarusian company Kommunarka works directly with Donetsk. “If this information is proven true, Kommunarka will definitely be on the black list and won’t be able to deliver goods to Ukraine,” he said.
Kysym emphasized, that the presence of Belarusian goods in occupied territories doesn’t necessarily mean direct delivery. Sometimes the goods come there through mediators, who buy the goods in Russia.
As it was reported earlier, Ukraine and Belarus intend to increase trade to 5 bln USD.
