Ukraine and Moldova implemented the joint control at the checkpoint of the border crossing Kuchurgan-Pevomaisk' in Odesa Region. The President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko reported this at Facebook.

'We started the joint Ukrainian-Moldovan customs and border control in Kuchurgany together with the Prime Minister of Moldova Pavel Filip', he wrote.

The project of the creation of the checkpoint was provided by the intergovernmental agreement of the organization of the joint control and interdepartmental protocol. It was implemented with the support of the EU.
