Ukraine has agreed with France and Germany to renew the "Normandy format "talks. The President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko announced this during his visit to Mariupol, Interfax-Ukraine "reports.

"Now I told the Deputy Head of the Presidential Administration Eliseev that the ceasefire state from September 1 issue "is agreed with our partners from France and Germany in the same way as the question of resuming the "Normandy format talks", he told reporters in Mariupol.

Recall that in early August, Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov said that representatives of Ukraine offered Normandy four leaders to meet at the G20 summit in China.
