Ukraine, Canada, UK to perform joint reconnaissance flight

C-130J reconnaissance aircraft will be flying over Russia and Belarus from May 2 till May 6

A joint reconnaissance mission by Canada, Ukraine and the United Kingdom will perform a flight over the territory of Russia and Belarus; it will be taking place from May 2 through May 6.

The C-130J surveillance aircraft will take off from Kubinka air base in Moscow region. Sergei Ryzhkov, the head of Russia’s National Centre for Decreasing Nuclear Danger said that as quoted by Interfax news agency.

‘During the flight on the scheduled route, Russian and Belorussian experts will be strictly controlling flight parameters and use of surveillance facilities,’ he said. 

Earlier, the joint U.S.-Italian mission arranged to perform another reconniassance flight over Russia and Belarus.
