The 144 kilometers-long wall is under construction in the Turkish province of Agra, which borders Iran.

According to Anadolu, the wall is designed to prevent cases of illegal border crossing.

The construction process will be conducted in five stages; the first one will be over by October. Fifteen border checkpoints, each with bulletproof glass, will be set along the wall.
