The representative of the transitional team of US President-elect Donald Trump, Sean Spicer said that it may be not worth to impose sanctions against Russia to such extent as they were introduced by the the Barack Obama's administration.

This future Press Secretary of Trump said in an interview on ABC, reports Reuters.

"One of the issues that we have is - why such a scale? Was it worth to send away 35 people, to close two residences? Is this proportional to the actions that have taken place from the Russian side? Perhaps it was worth, perhaps not, but this is a reason to think about it ", - said Spicer.

According to him, Trump intends to hold consultations with representatives of the US intelligence immediately after his return from New York.

Let us remind, Trump questioned the assertion that Russia attacked Democratic Party servers.
