US President-elect Donald Trump commenting on the information that Russia was trying to influence the US election in his favor, said that if Putin likes him, it is rather an asset, not a liability. He stated this during his first press conference since winning the election, which was broadcast by "112 Ukraine" TV channel.

"If Putin likes Donald Trump, I think it's an asset, not a liability, because we have a terrible relationship with Russia and Russia may really help us fight ISIS. Now I don’t know I’m going to get along with Vladimir Putin. I hope I do, but there’s a good chance I won’t," Trump said.
