U.S. National Security Advisor Herbert McMaster said that no specific problems were solved during G20 summit meeting between US President Donald Trump and Russian President Vladimir Putin.

"No problems were solved. Nobody expected any problems to be solved in that meeting. But it was a beginning of a dialogue on some tough problem sets that we'll begin now to work on together," McMaster said at a press conference, as quoted in a White House press release.

He noted that the foundation was laid for future combined efforts in Syria.

As we reported earlier, Trump and Putin met in Hamburg for what they claim to be their first time yesterday in Hamburg, during G20 summit. As a result of the meeting, the presidents agreed on cease-fire in Syria. They also agreed to create US-Russia way to solve Ukrainian conflict. However, as to the results of their meting, their opinions seem to differ.
