President of the United States Donald Trump said that he was considering the possibility of imposing further economic sanctions against North Korea, which, he said, would be "at a very high level." This is reported by Politico.

Trump is forced to "increase the degree" of his rhetoric, as Pyongyang demonstrates the successful conduct of missile tests and boasts of achievements in nuclear technology.

Last Saturday the UN Security Council ladopted a resolution on the imposition of new sanctions against North Korea with regard to its missile program, aimed at exporting coal, iron and lead from the country. In addition, the sanctions are aimed at reducing the amount of financial income to North Korea.

Earlier it was reported that the authorities of the DPRK organized a large-scale rally against the UN sanctions in Pyongyang.
