President-elect Donald Trump confirmed that the US will start to build a wall on the border with Mexico. He stated this during his first news conference since winning the election, which was broadcast by "112 Ukraine" TV channel.

"It’s not a fence, it’s a wall. You just misreported it. We are going to build a wall," Donald Trump said correcting a reported who asked about the fence.

“Mexico, through some form … will reimburse us,” Trump added, according to The Washington Post. “That will happen. Whether it’s a tax or whether it’s a payment.”

Let us remind the construction of the border wall at the expense of Mexico was one of the points of Trump's election campaign, Trump. In his opinion, such a barrier would prevent illegal migration to the United States.
